Information we use
We use the name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery details you provide, together with your basket, orders, payment status and customer-service correspondence. If you create an account, we also keep account and security information. We use this information to process and deliver orders, manage subscriptions, handle refunds, protect accounts and keep required business records.
Customer and order information from our previous Shopify store is retained for order history and service. A previous order does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. After you sign in and verify your email, eligible previous-order details can prefill checkout; you can edit them before ordering.
Payments and service providers
Card payments use Yoco, EFT payments use Ozow, and monthly subscription payments use Payfast. Payment details are entered with the payment provider. Our store keeps payment references and status needed for reconciliation; it does not receive your card security code or online-banking password.
We use Cloudflare for store infrastructure, Host Africa for email, delivery providers for fulfilment, and Klaviyo for customer communications and marketing. Relevant checkout and verified purchase events are sent to Klaviyo, including contact and order or basket information. These server-side events are separate from optional browser tracking. We do not sell your personal information.
Optional tracking and marketing
Use Privacy preferences in the footer to accept or reject optional browser analytics and marketing. You can shop with these switched off. With your permission, Meta and Klaviyo receive browsing events to help measure visits and personalise marketing. A supported Global Privacy Control signal is treated as rejection of optional tracking. The browser preference is remembered for up to 180 days, after which you may be asked again.
Order and account messages are distinct from promotional messages. To stop marketing emails, use their unsubscribe link or contact us. Rejecting browser tracking does not automatically unsubscribe an existing email subscription, and unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary order or account messages.
Our pages also load fonts from Google, and the contact page includes a Google map. These services can receive your IP address and browser information when loaded. Essential account and basket storage is used to operate the store.
Where information is processed
Our providers may process information outside South Africa. Processing location depends on the service; we do not represent that all customer data stays in South Africa. Contact us for information about the providers involved in your request.
How long information is kept
We keep information for the purpose for which it is needed, including fulfilling orders, managing accounts, preventing fraud and meeting accounting and tax obligations. Financial records may need to be retained after an account is closed. An unresolved dispute, investigation or other legal requirement may extend retention. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or de-identified through a reviewed disposal process.
Your choices and requests
You can request access, correction or deletion, object to processing where applicable, or withdraw consent for processing based on consent. Email info@mineral-manzi.co.za. We will verify your identity proportionately before disclosing or changing personal information. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
A verified account provides access to its own order history and a data download. Some records cannot be deleted immediately because they are required for legal obligations or unresolved transactions. We will explain any such restriction when responding.
